The group doesn’t seem very political though, at all really, seems interesting how the song tries to be bipartisan, but includes lines like “Protect the lower class, you know McCain won’t,” and “We gotta vote Barack!,” but does not include very supportive reports for Senator McCain. Listen to what the kids had to say to CNN after they sang their video in 2008. Listen to what Willie Thornton has to say at 3:30 being the only one in the group who supported John McCain. Note how surprised the host is that he supports John McCain.

Barack, Michelle and Oprah

This was supposed to be a post-racial, post-partisan president who would unite the United States of America with the rest of the world. He has failed to be post-racial (the beer summit with Skip Gates and Officer Crowley is a great example), failed to be post-partisan (blaming the Republicans for the health care debate when has Democratic majorities in Congress and can’t get enough Democrats to support the plan), and has failed to reunite the rest of the world with the United States (there are several, but one being the 2016 Olympics).

President Obama shouldn’t get all the blame for the Olympics fiasco, but the fact that he made such a large effort by bringing himself, Michelle Obama and even Oprah all the way across the Atlantic to lobby for the Olympics and they failed, should concern the American people when he starts to negotiate more important things like health care, and the pressure cookers of Iran and North Korea.

We Remember and Will Never Forget

We remember our fellow Americans who were killed by Muslim extremists on September 11, 2001 and will never forget those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in keeping our country safe.  We are thankful for the great leadership from President George W. Bush during this country’s most trying times. Take a look at the video below, you probably didn’t see this much in the mainstream media.
